Who is this guy?
Sketching has always been a satisfying and peaceful endeavor for me. The bonus is, it gives you an excuse to poke around in places you would otherwise have no reason to and then to give it your own twist. Heading out sketching is both pleasing and perplexing, (should I do this or is there something more interesting around the corner?)
The result of this infatuation is sketchbooks full of drawings that you pack up when you move and you move when you reorganize and you squirrel them away where they never see the light of day except for those few times you stumble across them and thumb through them for a bit.

Hello Don,
I enjoy your drawings of the old and sometimes ramshackle buildings around Vancouver. It baffles me that we revere ancient monuments in other places yet cannot see fit to preserve our own history.
Any way I need a sign painter. Can you give me a call.
Carol will have the number.

thought you could just draw wierd renditions of animals, but i guess that the old dog learned a couple of other tricks in his younger days
